The hotel is very dated. Everything is pretty worn but I was kind of expecting that for the price, which is reasonable ( there were some signs that they may be currently renovating the hotel, baseboard have been pulled, etc.). If you are somebody that dated fixtures and carpeting is going to bother you, do not stay here, however, the rooms are clean, and the service is excellent. I have not been to Pueblo very often, but the entire town does seem a little bit unsafe at night ( off season and cold maybe playing a role?) It would probably be better in the summer with more activity, but it was eerie outside, with no one else on the street and somewhat poor lighting .
